First time I have ever sold a house!! Boy I was stressed!! Seemed like nothing was going to go right at all!! But,,,,, Rod took care of every obstacle like a professional and with ease! I would not have gotten through this without him that’s for sure! He isn’t like any other realtor I’ve ever talked to. Rod went above and beyond day after day, week after week, month after month, for the 4months of my trying to sell my home. I had a tricky personal, unique court ordered, sale of my home due to a divorce. Rod welcomed the challenge, was unbiased, received all input neutrally, and was extremely professional every step and set-back along the way . Rod was giving of almost all his hours, and always made sure he was in pertinent and on time communication during all the various stages and requirements with this particular sale of home, especially with my living 4hrs away. Rod Quinlan may be the platonic ideal of a realtor, all others being pale imitations. I called several realtors attempting to list my place. Almost no call backs, and generally no one wanted to be bothered with a listing that had tenants in it for another 3 months. I finally placed a low-ball FSBO thinking an investor would show up or someone who’s not lazy would get in touch. After a very convincing drip text feed I got in contact. I’m extraordinarily busy being a medical resident this year but Rod stayed in contact and had a gameplan from the start and wasn’t intimidated at all from selling a house under a management contract. When we found out the management company had been slacking on the property inspectors, he worked with a painting company he had connections to get the outside back in good condition. He checked the property out many times. While he’s driven to get the deal done, I’ve never witnessed anybody more dedicated to advising clients to do what’s in their best interest. Most realtors just want a fast sale, telling someone to lower the price is the easiest way to make that happen. Rod consistently advised me to hold out and probably save me twenty-thousand dollars after commission over what I was willing to take. I’ll always be grateful to Rod for taking this multi-decade long-distance headache off my hands at a great price.

Rod did a great job with the sale of the house. Got the house sold in a rather slow housing market .He kept us informed and offered advice on what needed to be done to make the house more attractive to potential buyers .He worked with other realtors to make sure the house was seen by as many people as possible .He is very professional and devotes a good deal of time to making sure your house is sold. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to buy or sell a house.

Selling residential real estate is an incredibly complex and stressful task that requires excellent knowledge of the law and the local area as well as excellent negotiation skills in dealing with potential buyers. I thought I could do it myself. Rod convinced me that he could do it better and he was right. Rod professionally handled every aspect of the sale, from initial listing through closing and handled each phase expertly while keeping me informed throughout the entire process. If a difficulty arose, as they sometimes will, Rod handled each one while advising me of the solution and putting it into action. Rod took into account the sentimental value of the property that I had for sale and dealt with myself and my family members in a respectful manner. When it came to final negotiations, I was very pleased that Rod's negotiation skills were able to get me the best price for the property that I could expect. He never backed down. Through the entire process, Rod was there to handle it.
